At Kirkstone Pass Inn, We enjoy one of the most fortunate positions in the country.

At 1400ft there is no light pollution and therefore the star formations on clear nights

are phenomenal. Yet we are still close enough to the bar!

I have put the Solar System onto the site in advance of creating photo galleries and

possibly a web-cam facility subject to the interest shown.

I have spent many hours just gazing at the constellations and planets just for their beauty

though mostly, I don't know what I am looking at through my armature telescope.

There is so much to know when I can get the time.
