A short drive from the Kirkstone Pass Inn, ‘down the Struggle’, through Ambleside Village , you come to the village of Grasmere . The graves outside the Church include many of the Wordsworth Family, together with William and his wife Mary.

Just outside the Churchyard is the Wordsworth Daffodil Garden .

What used to be that Parish Church School is now a world famous Gingerbread shop,

The aroma hits you before you’ve even walked through the door - well worth the visit.

Just on the edge of the village is a modern style building,

but with a traditional stone facade which is the Grasmere and Wordsworth Museum,

nearby is Dove Cottage and the gift shop, where you can purchase tickets for the Museum

and Dove Cottage Wordsworth's famous home.
