The Bar - Restaurant
Your mouth will water and eyes have been known to stand out on stalks with the homecooked meals that come from our kitchen. Homely, local food at realistic prices is what we do best.
Locally sourced produce is used wherever possible. Not only does this keep the food miles down, but it also brings you the best that Cumbria has to offer, be it our home-made Steak and Ale Pie or one of our award-winning local ales. All our meals are cooked to order and this takes time, we cook for the hungry not those in a rush!
If you have a group of 6 people or larger, we strongly recommend you call ahead in order to plan arrangements as all our meals are cooked fresh to order (we serve traditional meals not fast food calling for patience at busy times)
Relax in our un-spoilt lounge/bar. A traditional fire will meet you when it is cold outside.
Alfresco Dining. The weather often allows use of our spectacular outdoor seating area with one of the best views only this the highest Lakeland Inn can offer.

Drink
The Bar
Our Bar is well stocked with a variety of different beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Beers vary from, Locally Brewed Ales as well as Lagers all on draft. We also offer bottles beers and ales, including non-alcoholic beer. Not forgetting Guinness on Draught!
Wines vary from measured bottles of Whites, Sauvignon-Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. Red, Merlot and Shiraz. We also serve Rose, White Zinfandel.
Our spirits vary. We serve Gin and Flavoured Gin, Whiskey, Rum, Vodka, and many more.
Our pub sells a variety of Cider, including Bottles and Draught!
Soft Drinks are available at our bar, J20’s, Fruit Shoot, Cordials, Ginger Beer and Fizzy Pop are just some that we have to offer.
We also have a selection of Teas and freshly ground coffee.
